Description
Midnight Tear is a deeply moving collection of duaian, first published under the title Du‘a-e-Ramadan. Although the prayers were not confined to Ramadan, the title gave it that impression. For later editions, Khurram Murad (رحمه الله) personally chose the name Midnight Tear.
In his own introduction to the work, Murad beautifully explains the essence of prayer. Prayer, he writes, is the cry of thirst and need rising from the depths of the heart, words on the tongue, tears in the eyes. It melts the heart, reshapes the soul, and is the most powerful means of attaining knowledge, inspiration, and longing for Allah.
The collection comprises supplications taught by the Prophet Muhammad duaian filled with warmth, humility, yearning, and devotion. They carry such depth and sincerity that they transform life’s purpose itself, becoming the very essence of a believer’s aspirations.
Carefully selected and arranged, these prayers are a treasure for spiritual refinement, inner peace, and the beauty of life.
Midnight Tear is thus a soulful gift for anyone who wishes to strengthen their bond with the Creator, illuminate their life with faith, and explore the rich heritage of online Islamic books and heartfelt duaian.
